Scenario 1
Your patients have a choice when it comes to where they receive their medical care. Ultimately, you may be viewing exams originating from institutions where you are not on staff; each one probably having a different PACS, GUI, and login. With a single login, eMix can provide you with one universal portal for viewing all your cases—images and reports. Your new mammography patient was previously scanned at an out-of-network imaging center. Her prior mammography images are needed for comparison to follow-up a prior abnormality.
